Phase IV of Kinder Park will add 96 units of affordable senior housing to the Kinder Park site, which includes 160 existing affordable apartments for seniors and individuals with disabilities, 154 new family townhomes, a new community building and several new community parks.
This six-story residential building includes a mix of one and two bedroom apartments and includes an on-site Trinity Health PACE senior care center as well as supportive services funded by Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA).
Resident amenities include access to a community lounge, dining facilities, an outdoor patio, a fitness room, onsite laundry, a community garden, and a conditioned walkway to other campus buildings.
The project highlights sustainable features designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities standards and will have a large solar photovoltaic array on the roof to offset electricity costs.
Several funding partners include Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA), Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), Delaware County, State of PA, Hudson Housing Capital, and Citizens Bank.
